In my spare time, I am a Realtor with Future Home Realty who specializes in waterfront properties for sailors and other boat owners. I also consider myself an expert with relocations, since I moved cross-county many times myself as a 20-year Navy veteran.
“Deep Water” might seem like an unusual niche for a Real Estate agent, but it grew from my frustration trying to find a home (or vacant buildable land) where I could keep my sailboat with it’s 65′ tall mast and 5’7″ draft. I had agents in three states show me lots that were upriver of a 12′ high cable crossing, houses with 3′ MLW in the marshy backyard, and subdivisions with “marinas” that couldn’t have fit more than a couple dinghies. I finally found a Realtor who knew sailboat property and home for my family here after my Navy retirement.
I’ve lived in Saint Petersburg on the Suncoast of Florida for just over four years now and still thrilled that my husband and I decided to move here with our two sons. We are active in the community and enjoy sailing and bicycling, and just built a terrific pool in our backyard. When we’re not cruising around in one of our Beneteau sailboat, small Cobia powerboat, kayaks or racing dinghies, you might find us biking around town.
